Update...

Hello Everyone! I hope all is well. I just wanted to take a few minutes to let you know what's been going on at the Field Household. Well, last Monday I started back at work and let me tell you, it was so hard to say goodbye to Aubrie. I dropped her off and thought I would be fine but as soon as they asked me how I was I started crying. I know she's in good hands but it's just so hard leaving them when their that small. She has done really well at Kidzalat and seems to enjoy her teacher Ms. Dorothy. In fact, Rusty dropped her off the other day and when he was leaving Ms. Dorothy was rocking Aubrie and Aubrie was just looking at her smiling and cooing. It seems like since both of the girls are in daycare I cherish my days at home with them more. In fact, I will have to upload a picture I took of Kaileigh yesterday after we painted for two hours. I had just taken Aubrie upstairs to change her and when I came downstairs Kaileigh told me "not to come in the kitchen, she was alright". Well, she was fine but paint was everywhere, I mean globs of it. I took some really good pictures and didn't mine the mess, she's a kid and was having a ton of fun. Oh, and here are few funny things that Kaileigh has done lately...

The other day we were making beaded necklaces and hers kept falling off the string. After about the third time she said "Oh Shit". I asked her to repeat herself and sure enough she said it loud and clear. I asked her where she had heard that word and she said from Hunter, a little boy who attends Kidzalat with her. I felt bad because I had to lie to her and tell her that Mommy and Daddy don't say words like that and she shouldn't either. I haven't heard her say it since.

Kaileigh also discovered something new the other day...her shadow. I was in Aubrie's room nursing her to sleep and the only light on in the room was her nightlight. Kaileigh was playing near Aubrie's crib and noticed her shadow on the wall. She was so funny to watch. She would walk up to the wall and the shadow would get small and then walk back and it would get big. She would hide behind the crib and it would go away and it would follow her to the floor as she squatted down. I just watched her without saying a word. She finally went up to the wall and swatted at it as to say go away. After a few minutes she seemed a little concerned and said "no". By this time Rusty had joined me and we told her it was okay and that it was just her shadow. Rusty made hand puppets to show her there was nothing to be scared of.

Lastly, we were talking about names yesterday and I asked her what Mommy's name was and she said "Katherine". I then asked her what Daddy's name was and she replied "Honey". She is so cute and it's been so much fun watching her little personality develop.

I hope you all enjoy reading my blog. I know a lot of you have said you've seen it and enjoy reading it. I would love to hear from you! All you have to do is click on comments and write a response, their always fun to read. I hope everyone is well and I'll try to download that picture of Kaileigh tonight.
Love Always, Katherine
